Red fruits, cherry, cassis, poached rhubarb, some fresh earth and raspberry, a little lick of new oak spice, it is very brightly fruited.
The wine has lovely balance and freshness and dances across the palate, it is long and expansive the tannins what one would expect from a Bourgogne of yesteryear a touch rustic and grippy and punchy tannin/acid driving length, as usual punches well above its appellation. Drink 2029-2039
